The Male Betta, or Siamese Fighting Fish, is a stunning centerpiece fish renowned for its vivid colors and flowing fins, available in a wide range of hues from deep blues and fiery reds to vibrant purples and iridescent greens. While Bettas are resilient and adaptable, they do best in a well-planted tank of at least 5 gallons, with plenty of hiding spots and minimal water movement to protect their delicate fins. They are solitary fish and should be housed alone, as males are territorial and will not tolerate other male Bettas or fin-nipping species. Here are the ideal water parameters for keeping a healthy, happy Betta:
 
Temperature: 75-80°F (24-27°C)
pH: 6.5-7.5
Hardness: 3-5 dGH

🪱 The bettas were raised on a variety of foods ranging from live whiteworms, frozen blood worms, pellets, and flakes.
 
🍂 They also always had a couple of Catappa Leaves in their tank to reduce Ph, and increase the presence of tannins to make them feel right at home. Because of this, each order will come with a few complimentary leaves to help acclimate your new bettas!
